Desert Phosfate is an experimental film that intertwines multiple narratives about phosphate, sand particles, plants, and human and mineral displacement, as well as the loss of nomadic lifestyles among the Sahrawi indigenous people. It also presents strong expressions of community resilience through gardens and artistic expression.
