Exploring Love and Marriage Expectations for Women

"T'estimo. Jo tampoc" is a project that investigates the social, cultural, and familial mandates that many women carry regarding love and marriage. It presents a dialogue between the inheritances of the past and a present that seeks to rebel against them. The project features conversations with family members through their wedding photographs, along with self-portraits of the artist, creating a reflective narrative. It seeks to dismantle, or at the very least, question the traditional paradigms of romantic love. This introspective journey not only highlights the pressures surrounding love and relationships but also encourages women to redefine their understanding of love, ultimately aiming to challenge and change the dialogue surrounding these deeply ingrained beliefs.
