Documentary: The Women of Hakilisigui

This documentary project portrays the lives of six women who are part of the Hakilisigui Federation in Burkina Faso, a network of cooperatives and associations comprising about 3,000 women. Each of them leads her own association, balancing family responsibilities with the management of collective projects and economic activities, demonstrating exemplary strength and commitment. The project highlights women's empowerment and the importance of cooperatives as spaces for mutual support, economic autonomy, and community leadership. Each story reflects the decisions and sacrifices necessary to ensure the well-being of families and the sustainability of projects, inviting reflection on the strength and leadership capacity of women in contexts often marked by economic and social difficulties.
