Comedy about Love in Later Life
A heartfelt comedy by Marc Artigau, directed by Clara Segura, focuses on love and desire in 'the third age'. It explores the life of Romina, a 76-year-old woman struggling with memory loss and confusion. Her son, Guillem, 40, is her primary caregiver, helping her navigate daily life while documenting her memories to preserve her history. When Romina begins to feel lost, Guillem makes the tough decision to move her to a care facility. There, her life transforms completely, and she meets Juli, a spirited 75-year-old. Together, they discover a new romance that highlights the potential for love, even as they face the challenges of aging and memory loss. The story artfully discusses how we manage care for loved ones and the enchanting ways desire persists in later life.
