This workshop focuses on approaches to address drug use among children and youth in educational settings. It seeks to foster a non-stigmatizing perspective and pedagogical methods to address drug-related issues. Participants will learn about the various substances that alter the nervous system and their diverse effects. Emphasizing an educational role, the workshop will discuss how to avoid stereotypes and prejudices while promoting constructive actions and activities to engage young people. Organized with Casals de Joves Catalunya, a federation of youth associations that encourage active youth participation, the training emphasizes how educational environments can effectively address drug issues. Conducted by Energy Control, an entity that aims to be a reliable source of information free of taboos regarding drug use, the workshop will cover topics including the introduction to drugs, perspectives in leisure environments, and the roles of educators in combating stigma and implementing.
