Workshop: Exploring Stars and Galaxies! (Ages 9 to 12)

Participants will become astronomers to discover some of the universe's most fascinating secrets. They will learn about stars, how they form, how their light travels through space, and how people have navigated using the sky for thousands of years. The workshop will also cover constellations and galaxies, and participants will explore the sky with digital tools similar to those used by scientists. Each participant will create their own galaxy in a jar to take home a piece of the universe.
