This family workshop explains how eclipses work using a model of the Sun-Earth-Moon system, and includes the construction of a solar projection box to safely observe the Sun. It also explores how to locate the Sun in the sky with Stellarium and explains why the eclipse is only visible from certain places on Earth. Suitable for families with children aged 8 and above.
