VI Chamber Music Cycle at Teatre Sarrià: Concert "Dialoguing with Mozart"

In the fourth concert directed by Maria Canyigueral of the VI Chamber Music Cycle at Teatre Sarrià, titled "Dialoguing with Mozart," violinist Lana Trotovsek and pianist Maria Canyigueral propose a sound journey that connects the past and present through a lively dialogue with Mozart's universe. The program features a selection of Mozart's Sonatas, true cornerstones of the repertoire for violin and piano, in conversation with two contemporary works: the premiere of a Sonata by Nicolas Bacri, dedicated to the duo Trotovsek-Canyigueral and inspired by the music and spirit of Mozart, and the "Hommage à Mozart" by Konstantia Gourzi, a piece that pays tribute to the Salzburg master from a contemporary and personal perspective. An exceptional opportunity to hear how Mozart's music continues to challenge the passage of time and a chance to discover two of the most active creative voices in the European musical landscape. The concert will include comments and an introduction by Xavier Chavarria, musicologist and producer of Catalunya Música.
