Tour de France 2026: Stage 2
The second stage of the Tour de France 2026 kicks off from Tarragona, covering a challenging 182.4 km route to Barcelona. The first half of the journey will run through various municipalities along the stunning Costa Daurada, offering beautiful coastal views. After Sitges, the terrain becomes more demanding, particularly around Begues. As the cyclists enter Barcelona through Collserola, they will navigate the city and end with an intense circuit at Montjuïc Park. This finish includes a steep climb to Montjuïc Castle, featuring a particularly tough ascent that rises sharply. The competitors will face the challenge of this uphill section multiple times, perfectly setting the stage for a dramatic conclusion to this grueling stage of the race.
