During October, November, and January, public spaces in eight districts of Barcelona will transform into stages for play, reflection, and creativity with 'The Time Route', a community initiative inviting families to explore and reflect together on how we use time in our daily lives. The activity is free and open to everyone, designed for families with children aged 5 and up - although younger children can also participate. It combines play, conversation, and collective creation in a friendly and welcoming environment, fostering dialogue about the value of time. Lasting approximately two hours, the proposal offers flexibility for free entry and exit, with various spaces adapted for different ages, shared play dynamics, and small creative actions. Scheduled activities include: 24/10 Nou Barris - Plaça Garrigó (17 -19h), 25/10 Les Corts - Plaça Concordia (11h to 13h), 01/11 Sants - Plaça Marina (11h to 13h), 02/11 Gràcia - Plaça del Sol (17h to 19h), 07/11 Sant Martí - Exterior Ludoteca Poblenou (17h to 19h), 08/11 Eixample - Plaça Fort Pienc (11h to 13h), 14/11 Nou Barris - Plaça Sòller (17h to 19h), 22/11 Les Corts - Plaça Concordia (11h to 13h), 28/11 Sarrià - Sant Gervasi - Plaça de la Torre (17h to 19h), 17/01 Sant Andreu - Space pending confirmation (11h to 13h). No prior registration is required to participate. This project uses play as a tool for transformation: 'The Time Route' is part of the Government Measure: Actions for the Digital Wellbeing of Children and Adolescents, aimed at reflecting on the use of time and screens from a family and educational perspective. It is also part of the strategy 'We Play in the Squares', integrated into the program 'Barcelona Playable City', promoting the right to play and coexistence in public spaces.
