'Berenguera' is a multidisciplinary theatrical proposal that showcases the life and work of a significant historical figure: Berenguera de Vilamur, a Catalan trobairitz from the 13th century. Artists Franch and Jover discovered this medieval female figure while reading an anonymous poem collected in an anthology. The project uses various languages, including song, dance, and poetry, to narrate Vilamur's life while questioning the credibility of how we convey history. This dynamic performance aims to leave audiences with more questions than answers, inviting reflection on the essence of storytelling and existence itself. The artistic team includes creator Maria Jover, Gerard Franch, and Carla Vilaró.
