Theatre "Big Fake" by Els Marquesets

Written by Toni Sans and Rubén Montañá, this play explores a society without gods or much hope for an afterlife, where new formulas must be found to replace spirituality. Three lonely and desperate characters are about to commit suicide without knowing each other. Chance will intertwine their destinies just before death takes them away. This unexpected encounter will offer them a reprieve in their lives and, consequently, in their existential search. "Big Fake" is a conflict comedy that speaks to the tense relationship between rational thought and the concept of one's own disappearance. It does so through humor and three characters who live thinking about death, are dying to live, and are as afraid of dying as they are of continuing to live.
