'The Tempest'

Synopsis: A storm shipwrecks Alonso, King of Naples, his son Ferdinand, and Antonio, who usurped the Duchy of Milan from his brother. The fateful tempest was caused by Prospero, the legitimate Duke of Milan, who has led them to the remote island where he has lived in exile with his daughter Miranda. The shipwreck sets in motion his vengeful plan, which plays with love and despair, and which he has devised to recover what was taken from him, using secret powers of nature. Prospero knows the occult sciences and can control the spirits of the island, like Ariel, whom he has in his service, or the unfortunate Caliban... Thus begins one of the greatest and most telluric stories of William Shakespeare, the last in chronology and maturity that has reached our days. The island will be the setting for buffoons, kings, sailors, lovers, nobles, and drunks, surrounded by characters that exist only in fiction while it becomes reality in the theater.
