A cult, romantic, and dissident play where satire, tragedy, mysticism, and social critique intertwine. Set in Moscow during the 1930s, the devil and his entourage wreak havoc in the city. Young Margarita loves the Master, a writer punished by the regime, while, centuries earlier, the apostle Matthew, Pontius Pilate, and Caiaphas debate the existence and death of Jesus Christ. Directed by Àlex Rigola.
