The 'Quartet de saxòfons' is a unique performance featuring four talented young musicians who met at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu. While studying under the guidance of professor Albert Julià, they decided to form a quartet, each playing a different type of saxophone. This concert promises to highlight the distinct qualities of each instrument, showcasing their varying registers and characters. From the soaring tones of the soprano saxophone played by Víctor Puigbò, to the rich sounds of Manuel Serpa Soares on baritone sax, the audience will be treated to a colorful display of musical textures. Joan Tous on alto saxophone and Mauro Cardoso on tenor saxophone will also contribute to the quartet's dynamic performance, resulting in a harmonious blend of four expressive voices that will captivate listeners.
