The Musetta Ensemble was born from the idea of arranging opera and musical pieces for "pocket" performances. Their main goal is to spread this more "exclusive" repertoire in a chamber music format suitable for all kinds of stages, especially smaller ones. They create their own arrangements to explore creative ways to bring opera and musical theater closer to chamber music, including instrumental fragments that enhance immersion in their program. This concert program explores the emotions and circumstances of various female protagonists from different operas and musicals. Additionally, Catalan composer Salvador Brotons has arranged three arias from his opera Reverend Everyman and his musical Fang exclusively for this project. Flute: Mónica Rollings, Bass Clarinet: Almudena Curros, Clarinet: Rebeca Romero, Soprano: Gisela Villamayor, Piano: Toni Inglés. This concert celebrates Santa Cecilia's day, the patron saint of Music and Musicians since 1584. Schedule: Friday at 18:30. Free entry, prior registration required, limited places available.
