The Reading Group at La Fabra Centre for Contemporary Art offers an innovative approach to engaging with art exhibitions through literature. Each session revolves around selected texts and publications that connect to current exhibits, fostering meaningful dialogue and interpretation among participants. Collaborating with various collectives and entities, the program unfolds through multiple gatherings, culminating in a public activation within the exhibition spaces. This final event transforms the reflections and discussions of the group into a participatory and performative experience, bridging the gap between literature and visual art. The first two sessions will be facilitated by writer Irene Pujadas, in association with La Tribu bookstore, which aligns its mission with the group’s aim to create an enriched environment for thought and dialogue in the context of contemporary art.
