Reading Club: "La Mala Costumbre"

We prepare to see the play "El nom volgut" by reading and discussing the novel "La Mala Costumbre" by Alana S. Portero. The novel explores the adolescence of a girl trapped in a body she does not know how to inhabit, trying to understand herself and the world around her, from her childhood in a working-class family in the Sant Blas neighborhood, ravaged by heroin in the 1980s, to clandestine nights in central Madrid in the 1990s. Led by Juan Carlos Mora from the Queer as Book reading club.
