
The arrival of Christmas is synonymous with nativity scenes in our culture, particularly in Catalonia, where the tradition of creating these dioramas has a long and rich historical background. Numerous nativity associations, including the Associació de Pessebristes de Barcelona, play a crucial role year after year in maintaining and celebrating this cultural tradition. The Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Pedralbes proudly organizes its nativity scene in the chapel with the collaboration of this association during the Christmas season. This year’s exhibition features two main dioramas illustrating key events from the life of Jesus: The Nativity and The Adoration of the Magi, intricately crafted using figures sculpted by Andreu Muns and the Castells brothers.
