"Bovary" is a contemporary opera based on "Madame Bovary". Directed by Carme Portaceli, the work revisits the character of Emma Roualt with a contemporary perspective and features a production involving La Monnaie-De Munt, KVS, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles, ESMUC, and Cronos Invest. It includes the ESMUC Symphony Orchestra and the La Monnaie Choir, conducted by Debora Waldman.
