Join us for a nature walk through Pegaso Park, a significant site that once housed the ENASA factory, famous for producing Pegaso trucks until the 1970s. This park, inaugurated in 1986, provides a beautiful blend of history and nature. As you stroll through, take a moment to appreciate the industrial architecture from mid-20th century Barcelona that remains as a testament to the city's rich industrial past. Over the nearly three decades since its opening, the park has developed lush vegetation that enhances its natural beauty. A key feature of this green space is the water canal, which flows through the park and is crossed by several charming bridges, some of which draw inspiration from Japanese design. This event, led by Professor Mireia Teixidó, aims to educate attendees about the historical context of the area while enjoying the serene surroundings of Pegaso Park. Please note that this route is not accessible for individuals with reduced mobility.
