Celebrate the VII Women’s Sports Festival, a vibrant sports day focused on young girls in 6th grade and 1st year of secondary school from the schools and institutes of Ciutat Vella. This festival aims to promote women's sports free from gender stereotypes and prejudices, advocating for equality in sports. Events include the Katherine Switzer race, honoring the first woman to run a marathon, a mixed sports relay designed to be cooperative, and a choreographic finale that features a participatory, inter-generational performance by women, highlighting their strength and unity. Organized by the Ciutat Vella Sports Association and in collaboration with various women's tables and senior citizen groups.
