Join us for a guided tour on International Women's Day, celebrating the achievements and struggles of women throughout history. In recognition of women's contributions, the MUEC is hosting two free guided tours that focus on gender perspectives. During this engaging tour, we’ll explore everyday activities essential for living—such as caregiving, food preparation, and household maintenance—that are often overlooked. Using objects from the museum's collection, we will uncover the technologies and practices vital to the survival of diverse societies, many of which have traditionally been associated with women. Together, we will reflect on gender roles and how we can foster attitudes that challenge prevailing stereotypes.
