This exhibition explores the last decade of Franco's regime and the collective projects that began to emerge in the wake of his death. Marking the 50th anniversary of Franco's passing, it serves as a venue for historical reflection. Visitors will walk through the final days of the dictatorship, understanding the regime's repression and the international reactions during these turbulent times. The exhibition's title question is addressed through the presentation of political and social projects conceived in the 1960s, illustrating hopes for a future after the dictator's era. It features 185 documents, mainly photographs and graphics, including significant political actors and moments, along with notable newspaper covers and extracts of sentences and manifestos from important movements in Spain's recent history. The multimedia aspect includes 15 audiovisual fragments with archive footage, newsreels, and excerpts from the U.S. program Saturday Night Live, enriching the historical context.
