Discover Refuge 307 in Poble-sec, one of many shelters built in Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War. This historical site illustrates the city’s efforts for passive defense during a tumultuous period, comprising 200 meters of tunnels designed to protect against aerial attacks. The refuge, excavated by community efforts, has been restored for public access, serving as a stark reminder of the realities of war. As part of a guided tour, guitarist Sara Congost will perform works by Catalan composers on selected days, enhancing the experience with live music amidst the historical backdrop.
