This guided tour takes place in the basement of the Gran Hotel Barcino, where a monumental pavement from the Roman forum of Barcino has been discovered. The remains include a Montjuïc stone pavement from the 1st century BC and unique hydraulic structures, as well as remnants of late antique urbanism (5th-6th centuries AD). This intervention has allowed for a rethinking of the forum's orientation and a better understanding of the ancient city's urbanism, revealing over two thousand years of continuous occupation from Roman times to the present.
