
The Guasch Coranty Scholarships are annual awards aimed at supporting and fostering creative and research projects by students at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Barcelona. This exhibition showcases the three selected projects for the 2024-2025 cycle, evaluated by a committee that includes Maria Dolors Tapias, Xavier Ristol, and Marc Anglés. The projects are displayed at La Capella's Vestíbulo and Oficina spaces, marking the culmination of the production process for the award-winning works. The first project, titled 'A Home in Low Resolution' by Meritxell Cañas, probes the interplay between the digital and physical realms through ceramics and artificial intelligence. It creates a dialogue between digital and material realms, where ceramic sculptures emerge from an AI's interpretations of home.
