Gardening Conference: 'Magicoreligious Beliefs and Practices Around Plants in Catalonia'

Led by Maria Orriols and Fuencisla Cáceres from the Botany Laboratory at the University of Barcelona, this conference will explore the role of plants in human life, not only for their medicinal and nutritional value but also for the beliefs and symbolism associated with them. This traditional knowledge has been passed down orally through generations and is at risk of being lost.
