Curated by Szilvia Mucsy and Rita Somosi, the 'Fresh Meat' exhibition showcases works by emerging Hungarian photographers Borbála Bethlendi, Bence Fazakas, Anna Forgách, Anita Horváth, Rita Kovalovszki, Martin Somogyi, and Laura Wilhelm. This exhibition is part of the Budapest Photo Festival's annual call for submissions aimed at photographers under 35, emphasizing the importance of originality and unconventional perspectives. Without restrictions on photographic genre, the exhibition focuses on series and portfolios that address relevant issues for today’s young photographers, regardless of theme or approach. The selected artists are given an incredible opportunity to participate in this collective exhibition, which is one of the festival's highlights, reflecting the collaboration between the International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) and the Budapest Photo Festival in Hungary.
