Free Visits to La Modelo Prison
Explore the intriguing history of La Modelo, an iconic 1900s Barcelona prison, during our free, self-guided visits! Available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (excluding holidays), visitors can wander through one of the city's most impressive structures without the need for a reservation. During these visits, you are free to explore notable areas of the prison, including the courtyards, galleries, cells, and central panopticon at your leisure. Please note that smoking, drinking, and eating are prohibited within the premises, and pets are not allowed unless they are assistance animals.
