Festival Empremtes 2026: Concert "Iglú"

Iglú is the project of friends Marc Gelabert and Marc Hampshire, who after more than six years together have found their voice by combining British indie, bedroom pop, and synth-pop in Catalan. From their room in Eixample, Barcelona, they self-produce with the support of the Delirics label, managing the entire creative process from composition to production and visual aspects. Iglú has built a fresh and festive sound proposal that mixes indie pop with influences from artists like Coldplay, U2, and The 1975. Their music speaks of memories, emotions, and life experiences, aiming to convey joy, celebration, and authenticity, always with a strong commitment to Catalan culture and a clear bet for a unique and constantly evolving style. Iglú presents "El Refugi," an album that marks a step forward in their journey, embracing a more mature and powerful indie sound with songs that discuss growing up, love, and the difficulty of letting go of painful experiences. This album departs from the lightness of their beginnings to showcase a more direct and raw sound.
