Dorothy lives with her uncles in Kansas, where life is gray and boring. After a tornado takes her house to the magical land of Oz, she meets various characters who also seek what they lack: a scarecrow wanting a brain, a tin man wanting a heart, and a cowardly lion needing courage. Their journey is filled with challenges, but they learn that what they seek was within them all along. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
