Family Activity: Painting the Sky

Families are invited to participate in a creative workshop titled 'Painting the Sky on Earth,' drawing inspiration from Gabriel Gomera's artwork in the exhibition 'Bringing the Sky Down to Earth.' In this activity, we will explore Suminagashi, a traditional Japanese technique that produces beautiful marbled effects reminiscent of clouds and the movement of the atmosphere above. Led by Marco Tondello, this workshop offers a unique and engaging way for children aged four and older to express their creativity and connect with art in a fun and hands-on manner. Families will leave with their own created pieces and a greater appreciation for this ancient art form.
