This event delves into the vastness of the Universe and seeks to answer the fundamental questions about its nature. We will begin our exploration with the closest celestial body to us, our Solar System, examining its components and the dynamics at play. Following this, we will discuss the life cycle of stars, including how they are born, evolve, and ultimately meet their demise. We will then turn our focus to galaxies, exploring the various types that exist and the phenomena of supermassive black holes at their centers. The discussion will culminate in an examination of cosmology, shedding light on the events surrounding the Big Bang, the Universe's evolution, and theories regarding its potential end. Questions about what we know and what remains unknown about the Universe will also be addressed. This insightful talk is led by Albert Morral, a physics graduate and the technical director of the AAS.
