Marwa Arsanios, an artist, filmmaker, and researcher based between Berlin and Beirut, explores structural and infrastructural questions, particularly regarding the transformation of architectural spaces during conflicts and artist-led environments. Utilizing cinema as a form to connect struggles, Arsanios delves into themes like property, law, economy, and ecology from specific locations. This exhibition features the fifth installment of her series 'Who is Afraid of Ideology?', co-produced with Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Artium Museoa. It investigates the history of property in an Ottoman territory, prompting us to rethink our relationships with land use and its legacies. Arsanios's work has been displayed in various prestigious spaces, including Documenta 15, the 5th Mardin Biennial, and the 11th Berlin Biennale, among others. The exhibition is curated by Carolina Jiménez.
