This exhibition examines the experiences of girls trapped within patriarchal societies, delving into themes of femininity, dependency, and limitations placed on women. By exploring the commonalities of a timeless girlhood, the exhibit investigates critical aspects such as education, labor, sexuality, and violence faced by girls. Through a collection of fragments, testimonies, sayings, important dates, and images, the exhibition creates a rich mosaic that highlights the challenges and realities that girls encounter throughout their formative years. Organized by the Catalan Women’s Institute, this project aims to raise awareness and initiate crucial discussions about gender equality and the socialization processes that shape young women's lives.
