Exhibition: 'The Sound of the Suburbs'

'The Sound of the Suburbs' is an intimate cartography of fleeting glances that leave a mark. This analog photography project emerged after traveling to over 60 countries, exploring the margins and peripheries of the world. In places where life unfolds away from the spotlight, I found stories that are often overlooked but reveal unexpected beauty. I capture people and moments that perhaps never thought their image would be part of an exhibition. Unknown faces with whom I connected without words, often just with a glance. Even though we knew we wouldn't see each other again, in that instant, we crossed an invisible border: that of empathy. This exhibition invites you to view the world with slower, more attentive eyes and to recognize the power of shared moments with those who go unnoticed. Curated by: Julia Jaque.
