This exhibition showcases the culmination of two trimesters of practice and dialogue through Japanese sumi-e painting. It begins with the cherry blossom, a symbol of resilience and renewal. Blooming under the harshness of winter teaches us about inner strength and the ability to prosper in adversity. This initial energy expands into the concept of Sansui Sōmoku (山水草木), which represents mountains, waters, grasses, and trees, reflecting the entirety of the natural world. The artworks aim to capture not isolated motifs, but rather the cosmic order where each stroke connects our human nature with the universal heartbeat. The pieces are creations by the students of the sumi-e workshop led by Maite Molina.
