Exhibition 'The Invisible Landscape'

Central exhibition of Polemik. The Ebro Delta is drowning. The lack of sediments along with the pressure of the climate crisis endangers the survival of the Delta, which could disappear in less than 80 years. Wayra Ficapal documents this landscape and intervenes in the photographs with water from the Mediterranean Sea, the same that is invading and eroding the area. Layer by layer, the photographs degrade and the landscape becomes invisible, raising another question: in a context of ecological crisis, what landscape does the landscape return to us?
