Exhibition: Some Catalans in America and Vice Versa

Curated by Martina Millà, head of exhibitions at the Joan Miró Foundation, this exhibition features Joan Casellas (Teià, 1960), an artist and performer who exhibited at Espai 10 in late 1979 before moving to the United States. Once established in New York, like other Catalan artists of various generations, he photographed his circle of friends and their lives. This exhibition will resonate and dialogue with the major exhibition on Joan Miró's contacts and projects in the United States, set to take place at the Joan Miró Foundation in the fall of 2025.
