This exhibition showcases the remarkable work of Ramon Llovet, a significant figure in the generation of Catalan artists working to innovate the artistic landscape of post-war Catalonia. Llovet's artistic journey began with social and expressionist paintings, gradually transitioning to ethereal, spiritually-rooted artwork in the late 1960s. The exhibition features a selection of drawings and prints, generously donated by the Llovet family in 2024, aiming to reestablish recognition for this artist's multifaceted contributions, his artistic experimentation, and personal experiences. Curated by Roser Insenser and Concepció Isern from the Graphic Unit of the Biblioteca de Catalunya, this collection invites viewers to engage with Llovet's rich legacy.
