This exhibition spotlights Pepita Pardell, a trailblazer in Catalan animation, celebrated in December. Originating from the Coll neighborhood, she was among the first animation professionals in Spain. A graduate of the Escola de la Llotja, her significant contributions include participating in Europe's first animated feature film in color. Over her extensive career spanning more than fifty years, she created comics and animated shorts, including the well-known 'The Warrior Maiden,' alongside international projects like 'The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show.' Honored with prestigious awards such as the Creu de Sant Jordi and the ANIMAC Trajectory Award, her remarkable legacy is showcased in this exhibition, paying tribute to her substantial impact on the animation industry.
