Exhibition 'Pause, Camping, or Campground'

'Pause, Camping, or Campground' is a project created by artist Dani Montlleó, based on the archives and collections of the Barcelona Photographic Archive. This work invites reflection on the similarities and contrasts between various spaces utilized by society for moments of respite—a temporary break from the accelerated rhythms of daily life. Both camping and leisure camping can serve as moments of pause: spaces of suspension where rest and introspection become possible. Nevertheless, they propose radically different models of relationship. Through this duality, Dani Montlleó uncovers opposing ways of understanding how we coexist with time and space in times of pause.
