The city of Barcelona has a rich tapestry of sporting clubs that have shaped its athletic history. These clubs have played a pivotal role in promoting grassroots sports and nurturing talent throughout the years. In recognition of their invaluable contributions, the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica aims to honor these institutions that make sports a vital part of our community. An exhibition is currently on display at the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch, dedicated to CE Jupiter. Established on May 12, 1909, during a meeting held at the renowned Cerveseria Cebrià (now known as Orxateria El Tío Chef) in Poblenou, CE Jupiter is considered one of the historical football clubs in Barcelona and Catalonia. This exhibition not only sheds light on the club's legacy but also celebrates the spirit and passion of all sporting clubs that enhance and foster the practice of sports.
