Exhibition 'New Paths'

Installation by Valentina Gaia Lops. Her work lies at the intersection of art, education, and territory. This time, she presents an interactive installation in the form of a sound-enabled typewriter. Pressing its keys transforms letters into sounds recorded in the neighborhood where it is displayed, dispersing them in space through an immersive sound system. This proposal alludes to the sensory crossings experienced by people with synesthesia, a condition the artist has, and invites reflection on the ongoing dialogue between body and territory. Through community activities, new ways to connect with the environment through synesthesia and affectivity will be explored.
