Exhibition 'Modern Constant: The Legacy of Catalan Modernist Architecture'
From March 9 to April 7, CASA SEAT will host an exhibition celebrating the architecture of the Palau de la Música Catalana. This showcase, created in collaboration with the Orfeo Catalan Foundation, pays homage to one of Barcelona's most iconic buildings during a significant moment as the city embraces its status as World Capital of Architecture 2026. The exhibition, located on the first floor, gathers archival materials, original pieces, and content that unravel the architectural evolution of the Palau—from its inception driven by the Orfeo Catalan and Lluis Domènech i Montaner to its latest restorations and expansions that lead into the 21st century. It explores the modernist legacy with a contemporary perspective, connecting memory, innovation, and design to understand how a work born in the early 20th century continues to resonate with the present.
