The exhibition tells the story of Fabra i Coats de Sant Andreu (1903-2005), which became the most important textile company in Spain in the early 20th century. It depicts what it was like to work in the factory, the working conditions, and the special welfare policies for its predominantly female workers, including better conditions in health, retirement, family, housing, and leisure, as well as various labor conflicts such as the 1919-1920 strike, collectivization during the Civil War, and labor struggles during Franco's regime.
