The exhibition 'Harvesting to Transform', an initiative by the Espigoladors Foundation and Palau Robert, aims to raise awareness and action against food loss and waste, particularly in primary production. It highlights the practice of gleaning and the crucial role of farmers in the food system. Curated by interdisciplinary designer Virginia Angulo, the exhibition seeks to inform about gleaning as a tool for prevention and visibility of food losses, encourage active participation from citizens and various agents in the agri-food chain, and strengthen the connection between citizens and the origin of food. It presents a sensory and symbolic experience that moves away from traditional informative logic, proposing a visual and immersive narrative on food loss issues. Admission is free.
