The exhibition 'Colita. Antifeminist' highlights the value of a project initiated by photographer Isabel Steva Hernández, known by her pseudonym Colita, and writer Maria Aurelia Capmany, who joined forces in 1977 to create what is considered the first openly feminist graphic book of the Transition period: 'Antifeminist'. Although the publisher quickly withdrew it from the market, the work became a cult book of critique and advocacy. Years later, Colita and the director of her Archive and curator of the exhibition, Francesc Polop, revived the project, and the book was reedited and published in 2021 by Terranova and the Barcelona City Council. The exhibition reclaims the relevance of the book's denunciations and reflections, and through it, the figures of two brave intellectual women who fought to dignify the act of being a woman and to speak openly about feminism. Co-organized by DHub, La Fàbrica, and the Círculo de Bellas Artes. Curator: Francesc Polop. Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays from 10:00 to 20:00. General entry: €6.
