Exhibition 'Codified Gestures'

Nani Serrano. Exhibition Hall Jaume Valor. The expressive gesturality of hands is a central element in my work. In 'Codified Gestures,' hands become silent protagonists, conveying subtle messages and evoking sensations of intimacy and connection. Creating compositions on a cream background, where the figure fades into the canvas, skin to skin. Additionally, I incorporate geometric shapes, creating an interesting contrast between the organic curves of the human body and the rigid structure of geometric forms, inviting the viewer to reflect on the relationship between the beauty of geometry and femininity. My work expresses itself through a feminine, delicate, and subtle language that evokes the primordial essence of woman. I explore the fundamental nature that defines identity, addressing it from a sensitive, intuitive, and poetic perspective. Each piece is born from a search for visual harmony, primarily guided by sensory perception. I work with airbrushing as my main technique, allowing me to experiment with transparency, softness, and precision. This technical resource enhances the ethereal and emotional character of my proposal. My work is constructed in series, in constant transformation, although the forms evolve, they remain always linked to the feminine figure. Exhibition on weekdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 22:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:30. Free admission.
